I am happy to announce I am teaming up with Birthday Dreams to help procure auction items for this year’s 2021 Gala charity auction. Birthday Dreams is a non-profit organization, located in Renton, dedicated to bringing hope and joy to homeless children with the gift of a birthday party. Myself along with a few other of my colleagues in westrern Washington have worked together to put on fundraisers to benefit Birthday Dreams in the past. The W Group at Compass and our agency have done toy drives and our own silent auctions before. From day one before we were even making a profit our agency wanted community engagement to be a part of our focus. We knew we would not find success without the support of our community and we knew that meant we will always have work to do in our community. We have also gotten out and volunteered at B-day dreams birthday parties (pre-covid) and the joy on these kids’ faces is amazing and that is what really got us fully vested behind Birthday Dreams. Now considering the circumstances with Coronavirus we really think it makes the most sense to team up and support their Gala charity auction. Rather than have our own silent auction. I was not able to even do my smaller silent auction and I know last year’s Gala was not what was expected because of Covid circumstances. So, we are really looking forward to teaming up and making this year’s Gala just as great as it was before Covid. Please reach out if you would like to help in any way. We are looking for desirable auction items but there are so many other ways to help or donate. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency on Lake Washington and will be October 9th.
